Baby and Mama Relax Classes


This class is designed for mums who are 6 weeks postnatal (8 weeks if they’ve had a Caesarean) to come to with their babies. It combines gentle stretching and toning exercises with relaxing with baby. We build up strength slowly from week to week, incorporating floor work, ball work and sometimes even using the babies themselves! This is most definitely not a high energy cardio vascular work out, but rather a gradual re-introduction to finding and engaging those essential pelvic floor and core muscles - they're there somewhere! The focus is on fun and relaxation - it gives you a chance to unwind, de-stress and share with other new mums.

It is suitable for babies who are not yet mobile, and is ideal to start when the babies are really young.

The course is held at The Yoga Room, Bridge Street Mill, Bridge Street, Witney, OX28 1YH.

Each course takes 6 weeks, and each session lasts for one and a half hours - we have 60 minutes of class time, followed by 30 minutes to have a cuppa and a chat to the other mums. The course costs £60.00.

This is a chance to do something for yourself, without having to find childcare for your baby. Your baby will also enjoy it as they are involved in the classes too. So, everybody wins!
